I’m functioning on no sleep currently. Two nights in a row I pulled an all-nighter in order to make all my deadlines, and even though I’m exhausted I also feel very fulfilled somehow. The thesis process is coming to an end, and even though I’m happy it’s almost over, I also haven’t worked this hard since I started university. Even though I’m very busy with school I also try to make as much time to hang out with my friends and family. Especially since my family had helped me so much with my thesis. Sunday night the whole family helped me transcribe my interviews, and they literally saved the day.
One of the ways I love to thank my family is too get them nice food, and recently I’ve made a discovery that makes this much easier. The app Too Good to Go got recommended to me, and immediately I was intrigued. The app basically lets you buy food at the end of the day from restaurants, bakeries, and places in the Markethall, that they would otherwise throw away.
The first time I tried the app I bought from Jordy’s Bakery for 4,50 euros. You pay beforehand with a credit card or PayPal via the app, and when you arrive at the place they just have to swipe, and you will receive your “magic box.” When I arrived at Jordy’s bakery I got a big bag of fresh bread. I served it at dinner right away, and everyone was very happy. You can see on the pictures how much I had received, and this was even after my family had already started eating from it.
I got a super great deal, and am so excited to try it more! Let me know if you’re interested in reading more blog posts about the food I got from this app!
