MOTHER’S DAY BROWNIE

Girls!

Friday is baking day. My friend Val is interning at a blog called My Travel Boektje, and therefore she bakes something every week. Since she experienced a little baking disaster recently, and called me up if I could help her, we decided to bake together every week. She makes something for her blog, and I make something for mine.

Since it is mother’s day this sunday I chose to make a treat for my mom. She is truly amazing and deserves the world, but let’s start with a brownie. This recipe was actually easy to make, and it was just a lot of fun baking together with a friend.

Try it out, and I’m sure your mom will love it!

Ingredients:

– 200 gr sugar
– 125 gr flour
– 100 gr butter
– 75 gr milk chocolate
– 2 eggs
– 10 gr cacao powder
– Nutella
– 100 gr white chocolate
– Maltezers
– pink sprinkles

Step 1:

Mix the butter, the sugar, the flour, the eggs, the melted milk chocolate, and the cacao powder.
Pre-heat the oven to 180° Celsius.

Step 2:

Put the mixture in a heart-shaped tin.
After that, swirl the Nutella into the mixture with a knife.
Put your tin in the oven for 25 minutes.

Step 3:

Take the tin out of the oven, and let it cool off.
After that, cover your brownie with white chocolate.
Sprinkle Maltezer and pink glitter around the edges.
Write a sweet message for your mom in the middle.
